As part of the Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology as well as the Goldrich Institute for Integrated NeuroHealth, we advance Geriatric and Palliative care Medicine practices through interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities Exciting Opportunities Await: Lead the charge in establishing and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Dive into pioneering research and academic scholarship in Geriatric medicine. Collaborate with various departments and area hospitals to promote interdisciplinary care and drive the Division's growth. Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development for residents, fellows, and other healthcare learners. Enhance and expand clinical and training programs tailored to the unique needs of the communities we serve. Provide comprehensive medical care in both hospital and outpatient settings. Work closely with nursing, administrative, and support staff to optimize patient care. Participate in committees and projects that shape the future of our field. Qualifications What We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate is: Board-certified or board-eligible and fellowship-trained in Geriatric Medicine. Qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate level. Licensed or eligible for a clinical practice license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
