Job Description Summary:   The Department of Management at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, is recruiting a tenure-track faculty member to teach courses and provide program leadership in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, and Talent Development at both undergraduate and graduate levels.   Responsibilities:   * Teaching load is 3-4 courses at the graduate and undergraduate level (9–12 credits) per semester. Teaching formats include in-person, Zoom, and online delivery. * Serve as the program lead for one or more programs: * MA in Human Resource Management * MA in Human Resource Development * MA in Talent Development * Undergraduate Emphasis in Human Resources * Oversee the continuous improvement of courses and programs using assessment, quality assurance, and enhancement strategies. * Develop innovative teaching methods and integrate applied, experiential learning where appropriate. * Foster student engagement through advising, career mentoring, and involvement in internship and field experiences. * Collaborate with businesses, non-profits, and government organizations to strengthen program relevance and student outcomes. * Support curriculum development, monitor learning outcomes, and ensure compliance with certification and accreditation requirements (e.g., SHRM alignment). * Participate in student recruitment, orientation, and retention initiatives. * Actively contribute to departmental, college, university, and professional service activities. * Maintain active engagement in scholarly research or professional practice within the human resources field. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:  Faculty will be considered if they meet the following minimum qualifications: * A minimum of a terminal degree (as defined by the discipline) in the area of human resources, organizational behavior (OB) or closely related discipline. For generalist degrees in management or OB, an emphasis or focus in HR is required.
