ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, MASTER OF NURSING/NURSE PRACTITIONER PROGRAM(TENURE-TRACK)

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate must hold a Doctorate in nursing, and be eligible for registration as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Alberta, and have three to five years of relevant academic and/or discipline-related experience, leadership experience in overseeing graduate Nurse Practitioner course coordination. The successful candidate for this position demonstratesstrongcommitmentto growing their skills, continuous learning, and contributing across research and scholarship, teaching, and service. Active registration in Alberta as a licensed Nurse Practitioner must be instated no later than the employment start date and must be actively maintained as an ongoing condition of employment. They are innovative and reflective educators, with experience in the online learning environment, and have demonstrable potential to develop a strategic, credible, and agile research program. Demonstrated experience or potential to lead and work respectfully and effectively as part of larger teams is essential. Openness and dedication to developing their skills and potential beyond areas of past or ongoing strength or success will be expected and fostered.
