Cleaning and sanitizing the work area. * Representing ICS both in and out of the store. * Adhering to all food safety protocols, standard operating procedures, health and safety policies, and other programs and initiatives. * Other duties as required While we are willing to train the right candidate, most successful candidates possess the following: *  High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program. (preffered) *  Minimum of two years of experience in a bakery environment. (preffered) Skills and Abilities * Excellent listening skills and communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work under pressure while always maintaining a professional image. * Working independently with little direct supervision. * Have a well-balanced concern for both tasks and people. * Have a genuine concern for the needs of customers. * Ability to delegate duties and responsibilities Working conditions * Required to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. * Required at times to work with challenging customers and/or situations.  * Exposed to hot, cold, and dusty environments. * Regular exposure to flour and other baking ingredients, including nuts Physical requirements  * Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently * Long periods of standing and walking * Frequent bending and twisting * Occasionally pushing and pulling of heavy carts around bakery * Occasionally work in coolers and freezers for short periods of time
Responsibilities
Assist bakers in preparing cakes, donuts, and other baked goods while following production schedules and recipes. Maintain a clean workspace and provide exceptional customer service to store patrons.
