Description Linvilla Orchards is seeking an Assistant Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a bake-off style bakery, a passion for creating quality products, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. This position supports the Bakery Manager in producing, merchandising, and maintaining our high-quality baked goods for the Farm Market. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, bake, wrap, and stock bakery products for sale in the Farm Market. Assist in maintaining inventory and organizing freezers to ensure proper rotation and freshness. Provide support in managing bakery merchandise, product ordering, and inventory control. Contribute to maintaining high standards of product quality, both from our bakery ovens and from outside vendors. Demonstrate strong customer service skills when interacting with customers and coworkers. Support efforts to minimize product shrink through careful handling and inventory practices. Assist with ensuring bakery equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed. Help implement promotional and merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. Be a positive and dependable team member, willing to assist wherever needed within the department. Preferred: Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Requirements Regularly required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move bakery ingredients, cases, and pans (up to 50 lbs). Ability to work in varying temperatures. Including walk-in refrigerators and freezers. Comfortable operating bakery machinery and tools (mixers, ovens, label makers, etc.).
Responsibilities
