JOB DESCRIPTION:

Lucky Ladd’s Bakery is seeking a passionate Assistant Bakery Manager to join our team as we launch our new scratch-made bakery. This hands-on role combines leadership with creativity, overseeing daily operations while crafting artisanal treats like hand-decorated cookies, gourmet caramel apples, cinnamon rolls, and more. You’ll lead a team of 5–12 staff, ensure production schedules meet demand, and contribute to recipe development in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

• Full-time, year-round: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekends during peak seasons.
• Reliable transportation required.

• Lead by example in scratch baking, decorating, and packaging while managing day/evening crews.
• Follow production schedules, help manage inventory/ordering, and oversee special-order fulfillment for corporate/individual clients.
• Train staff in baking techniques, decoration, and sanitation standards; provide constructive feedback.
• Merchandise products across bakery bar, gift shop, and food outlets.
• Ensure compliance with health/safety regulations and maintain a spotless workspace (equipment, floors, storage areas).
