About the role: PAK’nSAVE Rolleston | Early Starts | One Weekend Shift Included We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Bakery Manager to support the daily operation of our busy Bakery Department. This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintains high product standards, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.What the role involves: • Assisting the Bakery Manager with day-to-day department operations• Supporting, guiding, and developing the bakery team• Helping manage production planning, ordering, and stock control• Ensuring food safety, compliance, and consistent product standards• Stepping into leadership responsibilities when required• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient work environmentWhat we’re looking for: • NZQA Bakery qualification is required• Previous supermarket bakery experience is an advantage• Leadership or supervisory experience in a bakery environment is highly advantageous• A positive, hands-on, and reliable attitude• Physically fit and comfortable with early starts• Able to work both independently and as part of a team• Availability for one weekend shift• Specific days and hours will be discussed at interviewWhy join us?
