Description

The Wisconsin Club is looking for a self-motivated, hospitality minded, individual to join our management staff. If you have a good grasp on the restaurant industry, experience with fine dining, banquets and events we want to speak with you!
The Assistant Banquet Manager will directly assist the Banquet Manager in the preparation and execution of daily banquets and events and will demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Some duties may include:

  • Speaking directly to the host of the banquet/event to go over specifications, details and timing of the banquet/event.
  • Setting up AV equipment, microphones, laptops, projectors, etc. before an event.
  • Pre- banquet/event staff meetings to prepare staff for their duties and to ensure high quality service.
  • Oversee seating of guests, dinner service, and clearing of tables.
  • Communicate with chefs, bartenders and catering staff before, during and after the banquet/event.
  • Assist the Banquet Manager with day to day activities such as scheduling, training and other administrative duties.
  • Assist other departments including the dining room and front desk.

Hours will vary and are dependent on banquet/event schedules and may include split shifts, mornings, nights, weekends, and holiday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
