The Role:
As Assistant Club & Bar Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding customer service. You’ll lead from the front, motivating staff, maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of daily club and bar operations.
  • Lead, train, and support staff to deliver excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and cash handling procedures.
  • Support in planning and delivering events, promotions, and entertainment.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
  • To prepare the bar and tills for service prior to the start of a session.
  • To ensure that the tills balance and that all takings, including takings from the Club machines and all other sources of income are recorded correctly and to secure the premises and the end of shift ensuring the alarm is overnight.
  • Step up in the absence of the General Manager.

About You:

  • Previous experience in bar, club, or hospitality management (supervisory or assistant level) not essential as full training will be provided .
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
  • Flexible and willing to work evenings, late nights, and weekends.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating a great customer experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £19,656.00-£20,384.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
