Job Description We’re looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to help lead our bar team to excellence. What you’ll be doing: Supporting the Bar Manager with daily operations and team leadership. Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of bar service Overseeing beverage service, ensuring speed, quality, and consistency. Assisting in menu development - cocktails, wines, and spirits with an Italian flair. Managing stock levels, inventory, and supplier relationships. Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring bartenders and bar attendants. Upholding compliance with RSA and health & safety regulations. Delivering warm, professional service that makes every guest feel at home. Qualifications Australian working rights and current QLD RSA certificate. Fluent in English, spoken and written. Minimum 2 years’ experience in bars and restaurants, with some supervisory experience Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and Italian-style aperitivo culture. Solid understanding of stock control, COGS, and bar operations. Polite personal manner, positivity, and a team-first mindset. Bonus points for: Experience with premium/luxury hospitality environments. Creativity in crafting signature cocktails that showcase seasonal flavours. Familiarity with Italian hospitality traditions.
