The Assistant Bars Manager is an exciting role that aims to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience and enjoy excellent service.

Dunboyne Castle Hotel & Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside. The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in 1764, on the same site as the original castle. Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December 2022. The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harvey’s Point, Mount Wolseley & Aghadoe Heights.

REQUIREMENTS

Notwithstanding your positivity and ambition for hospitality we ideally would ideally like you to have some experience for your role as outlined below:

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Minimum 2 years bar supervisor experience
  • Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

All our team pride themselves in offering exceptional guest service to ensure we always go above our service standards. Your role with us will include:

  • Ensure weekly/daily checklists are completed by bar staff
  • Ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures as outlined in the standards of procedures manual
  • Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner
  • Ensure all bars are prepared for set up in advance of each shift and in accordance with relevant standards of procedure
  • Assist with developing, training and coaching bar staff to the standards required of a four star Hotel establishment in accordance with the standards of procedures manual
