ABOUT THE ROLE:

Joe Joe Jim’s isn’t your average bar — and we’re not looking for your average Bar Manager.
We’re a family-run venue with character, community, and a curated selection of constantly rotating craft ales, IPAs, stouts, and sours. Think cosy pub meets live music hub meets something entirely its own.
We’re now looking for a full-time Assistant Bar Manager to join our small but mighty team — someone who’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes and behind the bar.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Leading by example during busy shifts and serving behind the bar
• Weekly staff rota planning
• Supporting recruitment and staff training
• Stock management and placing orders (especially for our 5 rotating beer taps)
• Handling invoices and cash
• Helping coordinate private events (birthdays, wakes, etc.)
• Occasionally covering basic kitchen duties when needed (training provided)
• Developing and implementing innovative cocktail menus
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the bar and cellar areas.
• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws.
