Assistant Bar Manager
Lemons Bar is a craft cocktail bar located on The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. We are known for our in house infusions and adaptations of classic cocktails, with a big focus on customer service. We are looking for a passionate Hospitality professional to join our management team.
The Role
As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Bar Manager in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring the smooth running of the bar and the delivery of an outstanding customer experience. This is a weekend centric role involving shift leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Bar Manager in overseeing all aspects of bar operations, with a focus on service standards, and stock control.
• Lead and motivate the bar team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive working environment.
• Take ownership of shifts and manage the bar effectively in the absence of the Bar Manager.
• Help develop and implement cocktail menus and specials.
• Ensure the bar operates in full compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Train and develop team members, sharing your knowledge of beverages and service best practices.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory, assistant management or management role within a craft cocktail bar, pub, or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and interest in learning more about craft spirits, cocktails and techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
