We are looking for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join AURA - SKYPOOL, inspired by the cosmopolitan energy of iconic Asian cities, our menu features refined yet relaxed sharing-style dishes, perfectly complemented by AURA’s electrifying sky-high atmosphere. Our selection of international plates with a Pan-Asian twist includes poolside favourites and signature creations, designed to be enjoyed throughout the lounge. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
- Develop, train, and inspire a high-performing bar team while maintaining the highest service standards.
- Drive beverage quality, consistency, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team on seasonal beverage programs and guest experiences.
- Monitor beverage costs, inventory management, stock control, and waste minimization.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, health & safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Support the pre-opening of the venue, ensuring all bar operations are fully prepared for launch.
- Assist in developing bar Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service standards, and operational workflows.
- Support beverage menu development, cocktail testing, and recipe standardization.
- Build strong relationships with guests while creating an engaging and energetic atmosphere.
- Support the successful pre-opening, recruitment, training, and launch of the venue.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years' proven experience as a supervisor within a luxury lifestyle dining, upscale restaurant, beach club, or nightlife venue.
- Previous experience managing high-volume premium beverage operations.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, premium spirits, wine, champagne, and contemporary mixology trends.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in developing, coaching, and motivating bar teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing beverage cost, inventory, and profitability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are highly advantageous
