QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a bar or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of bar operations, beverage service, and customer satisfaction best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
  • Understanding of licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and team member effectiveness while adhering to Company and legal requirements.
  • Deputize on the Manager’s days off.
  • Serve and present beverages professionally and efficiently.
  • Take food orders, serve to tables, and clear tables.
  • Keep the bar and front-of-house clean and tidy.
  • Stay updated with current promotions and new products.
  • Make customers aware of offers and drive sales through upselling.
  • Adhere to company administrative processes and cash handling procedures.
  • Deal effectively with customer complaints following Company guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with team members by offering support and coaching.
  • Ensure the safety and security of customers, team members, and the venue.
  • Follow required procedures for stock takes, receiving deliveries, and cellar management.
