Reports to: Director of Operations- Tetra
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create batches of juices, teas, or other beverages as required, ensuring product quality and integrity.
- Accurately weigh and mix all ingredients as per formula requirements to consistently create product to specifications.
- Dispose of ingredient containers in a clean and orderly manner to avoid product contamination.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with equipment, devices, or products.
- Maintain batch logs, and documentation including those outlining procedures, batch records, inventory, productivity, changeover, and progress.
- Measure weight & load ingredients following the appropriate formula.
- Perform simple calculations (i.e. ingredient quantities, batching cycles required).
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure integrity of products.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company’s Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Profile
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- Aptitude for numbers and have basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lift up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to work in an environment with variable temperatures
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have demonstrated problem solving skills
- Good Mechanical and Technical Aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Previous related process/batching experience is an asset
- Valid Forklift or electric pallet truck license is an asset
- NB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit
