                                                              Join Trillium Family Services - Make a Difference in Young Lives and Families     ASSISTANT BILLING MANAGER Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Work Schedule: On-site, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM during initial training period; some flexibility available thereafter Salary: Starting at $63,000/year (DOE) JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Billing Manager is responsible for invoicing services provided by agency programs using accepted billing practices and approved billing forms and software. This role requires strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, Medicaid, and state insurance practices. The Assistant Billing Manager also plays a key role in collections, daily deposits, and staff training, while supporting billing operations across the agency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Invoice services provided by agency programs in accordance with accepted billing practices * Utilize appropriate billing forms and software accurately and efficiently * Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including HIPAA, Medicaid, and state insurance regulations * Collect fees for services provided by agency programs * Assist with posting daily deposits * Act as the principal trainer for new billing staff * Provide ongoing support and assistance to billing staff as needed * Perform Access-related duties as required * Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and ensure billing practices remain compliant Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred * Five (5) or more years of previous billing experience, including all aspects of business office functions * Working knowledge of JCAHO standards and state regulations for both acute care and skilled nursing facilities * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment  Work Environment: * On-site position * Standard business office setting                                                                                                                    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: * Full-time 40 hours per week schedule. * Comprehensive employer-paid healthcare benefits for eligible employees * 401k with 6% match * Generous vacation and sick leave * A supportive team environment dedicated to equity, compassion, and high-quality care.
