REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Architecture/Engineering/ Construction, Specialist Diploma in BIM or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in BIM coordination or digital design, with at least 2 years in BIM Management.
  • Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Docs, and tools like Enscape, VRcollab, or Revizto.
  • In-depth knowledge of BIM standards and workflows (e.g., ISO 19650, Singapore BIM standards).
  • Strong problem solving, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to handle tasks independently.
  • Committed to high work standards and continuous learning in BIM.
Responsibilities

ROLES OVERVIEW:

The Assistant BIM Manager supports the BIM Manager in overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities across projects. This role involves coordinating with design teams, ensuring compliance with BIM standards, and assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of BIM processes and technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the BIM Manager in implementing BIM execution plans and strategies for projects.
  • Support project teams in model setup, coordination, clash detection, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure BIM deliverables are submitted on time and meet quality standards.
  • Help manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and oversee model/data sharing workflows.
  • Conduct quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, and coordination.
  • Assist in training and guiding project teams on BIM software and workflows (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company BIM standards and project protocols.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve BIM-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and assist with the development of BIM templates and libraries.Stay informed on BIM trends, tools, and industry standards, particularly within the local construction context (e.g., Singapore regulations).
