KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate daily bistro operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Support the recruitment process for new team members and assist in onboarding
• Guide, train, and coach the team, including trainees, to foster growth and development
• Manage scheduling and hour administration to ensure effective team planning
• Lead the bar team and ensure consistency in quality and service
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen to deliver innovative and seasonal menu offerings
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all hygiene and safety standards are met
• Create a positive and inspiring work environment focused on guest satisfaction and team performance

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach and a genuine interest in people development
• Experience with staff planning and basic administrative tasks such as scheduling and hour registration
• A strong passion for food and beverage, and knowledge of the latest industry trends
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
• A proactive and guest-oriented mindset, with the ability to stay composed under pressure
