Description Job Summary: The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bank branch. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with banking regulations. The Assistant Branch Manager also plays a key role in staff supervision, business development, and achieving branch performance goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Supervise and support branch staff, including Financial Service Associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide excellent customer service by resolving complex inquiries and handling escalated issues. Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales targets and promoting bank products and services. Monitor cash flow, vault balances, and transaction accuracy to minimize risk and ensure security. Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of branch personnel. Maintain a strong understanding of bank products, services, and digital platforms to guide customers effectively. Ensure the branch is audit-ready and adheres to all safety and security protocols. Act as the Branch Manager in their absence. Requirements Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in retail banking, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of banking regulations, operations, and financial products. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, as needed.
