Description Primary Functions: Able to perform in all Member Service areas of the Credit Union, including but not limited to: Lending, New Accounts, Reception Desk, and Teller line. Perform duties and responsibilities of Branch Manager in their absence. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Have broad knowledge of Credit Union services and policies and the ability to answer inquiries of a general nature. Responsible for staying current on all products and services offered by the credit union and be proactive in offering these products and services when applicable. 2. Schedule staff with input from the Branch Manager. Make adjustments pertaining to staff and workflow, in the absence of the Branch Manager. 3. Assist with branch audits in all areas including but not limited to; vault, loans, accounts, security, ATM, and cash. 4. Perform branch balancing at all levels to include but not limited to; order cash, balance vault cash, balance miscellaneous transactions, verify IP Admin or IP Archive and transmit. 5. Responsible for opening and closing facility; open/secure vault and money, verify teller stations are loaded/secure, unarm/arm alarms and respond to alarm calls on an as needed basis. 6. Monitor work of Member Services Representatives to ensure the highest quality of service to members, mentor and train staff as needed. Assist staff or members in resolving complex account issues. 7. Keep Management informed of area activities and any significant problems as needed. 8. Work with outside vendors on an as-needed basis. 9. Assist members with Visa Gift Cards. 10. Assist the Branch Manager with employment interviews, monthly coaching, employee relations issues, and performance evaluations as required. 11. Sign checks for authorized disbursements. 12. Oversee the ordering of all branch supplies and youth gifts. 13. Become and remain a Notary Public and Signature Guarantee. 14. Complete required and recommended educational courses; Follow all rules and regulations as applicable to job function, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act. 15. All other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: 1. Associate’s degree in business, finance, or any related field of study or equivalent work experience. 2. Three or more years of consumer lending experience with the credit union or other financial institution. 3. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills 4. Familiarity with Microsoft Office an asset 5. Ability to work independently with little supervision 6. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions 7. Ability to deal tactfully, courteously, and effectively with the public as well as employees 8. Supervisory experience is preferred. 9. Ability to work quickly and accurately with members 10. Must be flexible to accommodate the schedule of the branch, including Saturdays. Physical Requirements: 1. Visual acuity. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; extensive reading on a computer monitor 2. Hearing. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, either in person or on the phone. 3. Light work. Exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. 4. Body motions: Standing, walking lifting stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling. Pushing and pulling. 5.
