Description Responsible for managing the retail operations at the main office or branch office in the absence of the Branch Manager according to Bank policy and for developing new business. Must be able to complete all tasks associated with Teller II, Vault Teller and Head Teller. Requirements Maintains customer and employee relationships Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures Supervises vault operations and procedures; including required entry logs Open night depository and record contents Handles customer problems and complaints; counsels customers with special needs or requests Enforces bank policies at the Branch Office Assists with maintaining office building, grounds, equipment and fixtures Assists with the preparation and distribution of monthly branch reports to appropriate bank management Evaluates the branch operations and make recommendations to management Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances or refer problem to supervisor Provide ongoing training of tellers in customer service and banking procedures to improve efficiency Assists with the safety program at the Branch Opens, closes and services every type of account Promotes the financial institution services and products to current and/or potential customers Tests branch security equipment and investigates security issues when needed Represents the financial institution in community social events Provides coaching and/or counseling with employees when needed with the assistance of the Branch Manager Coordinates staff training when needed, including quarterly on-line training Perform all the duties and responsibilities of teller as needed Serves as a Notary Public for the Branch Office Updated 050523 EOE
