We are currently looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join our Lee's Summit Branch team. Job Summary Our ABM performs a variety of complex duties to serve customers/prospects by providing excellent customer service with the highest degree of accuracy and professionalism, while fully exploring customer needs and providing appropriate products and services. Trains, directs, and assists in supervising branch staff. Monitors service and sales quality levels and mentors’ staff to achieve goals. What you can expect to work on * Build relationships with customers that go beyond a single interaction, focusing on building long-term relationships. * Promote, cross sell and provision all bank products and services to prospects and current customers. * Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. * Perform and oversee all aspects of daily branch operations. * Execute behavioral coaching with Universal Bankers to meet branch and individual sales goals. * Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff along with maintaining effective employee relations. * Adhere to all policies and procedures, including those related to the bank’s Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) compliance program, and enforce these with the rest of the branch staff. * Ensure adequate staffing for efficient branch operation. * Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times. * Resolve customer problems that require a management-level decision. What you offer us * A High school diploma, GED or foreign equivalent required, college degree or military equivalent preferred. * 3-5 years experience in handling currency transactions or experience in a sales environment preferred * Ability to complete credit and background checks. * Computer literate; experience using all Microsoft Office applications * Accountability – Accepts responsibility for own actions that influence the lives of our customers and fellow employees. * Accuracy – Thoroughness and strict attention to detail; does work right the first time; identifies and corrects errors; produces complete and error free work. * Active Listening – Gives full attention to what others are saying, attentive to others’ ideas and concerns; asks questions to clarify understanding. * Data Entry – Proficient alpha/numeric data entry skills. * Detail Oriented – Concentrates on routine work details; carefully monitors and examines one’s own and others’ work; ensures accuracy in documentation and data. * Ethical Conduct – Acting in ways consistent with sound banking practices and the standards and values of NASB. * Flexibility – Adaptable and nimble.
