Description Provide friendly and efficient customer service in person and/or over the telephone while performing customer account related tasks, including, but not limited to, consumer and business account products and services, certificate renewals, card related activity, wire transfers, retirement accounts, estate and trust account assistance. Actively educate and promote awareness of Bank products and services to potential and existing customers in an effort to establish and/or expand the customers’ relationship with the Bank. Serve in the capacity of a Teller when a coverage need arises. Assist in the training and development of the staff. Motivate and instruct staff in their responsibilities, limits of authority and channels of communication. Manage department staff in areas including, but not limited to, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, development and discipline. Hold licenses/certifications necessary to sell bank products and services. Plan, train, control and supervise the overall operations of the branch in conjunction with the Branch Manager. Investigate and take corrective actions necessary to resolve problems and complaints with customers and employees. Report daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly information to the main office for reconciling, balancing and updating various records and files. Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring proper maintenance of building and grounds. May be required to provide supplementary maintenance as needed, including but not limited to keeping the grounds free of trash, keeping sidewalks clear during inclement weather, and assuring proper lighting. Perform all duties of the Branch Manager in his/her absence. May be required to attend and/or participate in public relations/company programs. Satisfactorily complete all required training. Perform additional duties as assigned by management necessary to maintain an efficiently run office, including cross-training in other Department or Bank functions. Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates. May travel to Bank or other locations for job related functions. SCHEDULE Mondays – Friday – 8:45 am – 5:15 pm Saturdays (as scheduled) 8:15 am – 12:15 pm COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Annual salary: $60,000-$75,000 Retirement plans Health insurance Paid days off Requirements At least two years’ experience in a customer service, new accounts, relationship banker or related role that includes teller work in a US bank required. Maintain a valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) identification number; may be obtained post-hire. Familiarity with Fiserv-Cleartouch software preferred Demonstrate consistent positive interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and privacy when interacting with colleagues and customers Strong organization skills Attention to detail Exercise good judgment Proficiently read, write and speak the English language.
