We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Assistant Manager, but one that also has a high level of vehicle technical knowledge to support the branch as required.

As an Assistant Manager your main role will be supporting the Branch Manager with:

  • The running of the day to day operational and logistical management of the garage and tyre bay operation.
  • Ensuring effective branch security, adherence to cash handling procedures and other compliant paperwork, and general branch housekeeping.
  • Use your technical skills to support both the garage and tyre bay as required.
  • Provide a positive and supportive working environment alongside the Branch Manager and to monitor work flow and identify any problematic situations and facilitate their corrective outcomes.

With a ‘can do’ attitude, this role is very much hands-on and requires someone who can lead by example whilst maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and efficiency. A highly motivated and driven individual you will ideally have some supervisory/managerial experience

  • Mechanical experience / knowledge required
  • You must be flexible and reliable in your approach.
  • Understand the importance of and be enthusiastic about delivering excellent service to our customers.
  • You will be highly motivated to get the job done and have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Having strong leadership skills you will work with our team of dedicated staff to deliver high standards throughout this role.

In return we are delighted to offer:

  • Salary £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (over 23). Performance depending this will be reviewed during and / or after the first 6 months of employment.
  • Hours - 8:00am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 12:30 Saturday.
