ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Dairy (YoPRO) team in Melbourne. In this permanent role, you will report to the Senior Brand Manager and support the team with key projects (pack designs, line extension innovations & renovations), campaign execution, social media strategy & execution, events coordination, retailers’ activities and contribute to brand strategy.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Brand performance analysis & Budget control: Monitor brand performance and manage A&P expenditure to align activation plans with key KPIs (sales, penetration, share) monthly.
  • Market and competitors’ analysis & Product superiority: Develop market insights, analyse competitors, and organise product tastings to ensure superior quality and alignment with consumer trends
  • Project management: Support packaging design and NPD development from concept to launch, lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and excellent project delivery, adhere to internal processes, and present key innovation updates
  • Campaign activation & agencies management: Lead shopper communication and social media strategy, measure performance, and build strong agency partnerships to ensure excellent execution and future recommendations.
  • Strategy: Contribute to brand strategy and marketing plans and prepare key business meetings such as range reviews and QBRs.

About you
You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with some experience in brand management/marketing. Your exposure to FMCG, combined with your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, has supported brand growth and innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments, working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives. Your ability to analyse market trends, understand consumer needs, assist in developing brand strategies, and manage budgets makes you an ideal candidate for this role.
