Reporting to the Director, Marketing, this cross-functional teammate will assist in the design, and execution of 3-year LTO & program calendar, in-restaurant merchandising, menu and pricing changes, local restaurant marketing initiatives, brand budgets and special programs (including our Kids program!) for one of Canada’s most iconic restaurant Brands.

Responsibilities
  • Execute our 3-year marketing calendar and planning, working with Director of Marketing and, cross-functional teammates, and external agencies
  • Execute and key cross-functional limited-time offering programs
  • Responsible for in-restaurant merchandising for the brand to drive Average Guest Check (trial, upsells, and add-ons), by optimizing menu design, printed and digital takeout boards, in-restaurant handouts, table toppers, window clings, flags, banners, and more
  • Measure and report on brand, financial, and guest sentiment results for key programs, menu items, and seasonal events - and mine for actionable insights!
  • Execute all brand pricing changes with support from other members of the Marketing Team
  • Execute and lead all local restaurant marketing initiatives supporting the franchise network build and drive guest traffic
  • Lead our best-in-class kids programming with oversight from Director of Marketing
  • Project manage East Side Mario’s food and beverage product innovation, with the Executive Chef and Operations Team, to ensure menu strategy and testing pipeline is aligned with brand objectives
  • Lead invoicing and daily budget management in support of the Director of Marketing
  • Stay up to date on restaurant marketing trends, food news, and best-practices, and frameworks used to drive sales, guest traffic, and franchisee profitability
