Description

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for developing and managing a variety of critical marketing activities to increase brand awareness, support retail marketing initiatives, and lead social and public relations for Gorilla Glue and O’Keeffe’s brands.
Specifically, this person will assist in the development of marketing materials and brand expansion initiatives in Benelux and Italian markets for DIY, Mass (Grocery, Craft, Stationery), Builders Merchants and online. Working to support our distributors to ensure our products reach a wide audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales initiatives and executions around new product launches, core brand and product retailer initiatives and advertising strategy.
  • Develop consumer and trade literature and materials to support planned and ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of launch plans for new product innovation, new product consumer positioning and business strategy around strategic retail and in-market initiatives.
  • Take ownership of smaller NPD projects from project establishment through to launch.
  • Develop and manage all marketing communication materials for retail customers and consumers for online and mailed executions. Support the Brand Manager with the development of all ATL communication materials
  • Manage all Gorilla Glue web and social platforms and partner with external agencies to monitor and continue the engagement with consumers. Management includes content creation, planning and execution of all digital platforms and ensuring campaigns are integrated with PR initiatives.
  • Attending events and tradeshow activities as needed.
  • Serve as the brand contact for Gorilla brand performance and market analytics across all channels. This includes the analysis of market performance-based data from GfK. Measure performance of marketing activities to help marketing and agency teams optimize planning and spending.
  • Manage the development and implementation of artwork for packaging and displays to ensure that top quality materials are delivered in line with specification and to deadline
  • Manage all translations for EU materials and ensure final materials are delivered as required
  • Lead weekly agency calls to progress ongoing projects
