Job Details Job Location: Shelton, CT 06484 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: M-F Job Category: Marketing Job Summary The Assistant Brand Manager owns and executes brand, marketing, and communication initiatives that strengthen the company’s market presence and enable sales growth, with increasing responsibility and autonomy across integrated brand programs. This role works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external vendors and serves as the day-to-day lead for assigned brand initiatives, ensuring consistent brand representation and timely delivery of key marketing assets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong ownership and sound judgement. Essential Job Responsibilities Owns and manages all activities related to the company’s yearly trade show program, including booth planning, logistics, asset management, timelines, deliverables, and on-site support as needed. Collaborate with brand, marketing, sales, and leadership teams to translate strategic priorities into clear messaging, materials, and execution of plans for trade shows and events. Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external company events including preparing and organizing brand assets, signage, and collateral. Assist with data, reporting, and process management. Support the Creative Development and Branding efforts for the organization. Serve as the primary owner for the marketing collateral library and management. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Operations Coordinate and manage assigned projects and tasks. Project manage and communicate deliverables on campaigns, as well as providing reports on campaign findings and results. Manage field requests for presentations and customer specific collateral. Coordinate events for training and department communications to sales and other teams. Prepare reports, including charts and graphs, and present recommendations for action plans to management. Assist in execution of marketing campaigns (product launches and promotion) and communication strategies. Research market trends analyze the industry, and present findings on the latest market developments. Support development and management of collateral to ensure product and brand awareness. Support vendor management for photo shoots and other marketing efforts. Assist with editing and proofreading collateral and other marketing media. Support trade show events and deliverables. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of Senior Brand Manager. Safety Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements. Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards. Attend scheduled EH&S training program. Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans. Recommend improved EH&S practices. Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE). Product Safety and Quality Follows Product Safety and Quality standards. Follows GMP’s in regard to food contact packaging as it pertains to the employee. Follows IPC product defense standards and complies with all SQF requirements. Qualifications Minimum Requirements (include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.) Qualifications BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred. Experience with project management, including managing timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication. Experience planning and executing events or trade shows. 2 years of experience in marketing (B2B or manufacturing experience a plus). Technical Requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Excel (including spreadsheets, data organization, and basic formulas). Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
