JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Portfolio Director Super Premium Health, Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) will be responsible for multiple workstreams that are vital to the success of the ADVANCE business. You will support the ADVANCE Marketing team (brand management and recommendation/Key influencer team) in full 360 campaigns including traditional and digital touch points.
This role will be integral member of cross-functional business teams in the planning, execution and analysis of various NPD projects as well as key spoke of sales and marketing initiatives (on and offline). The ABM will lead and support in the delivery and implementation of the approved 18 month execution plan. The ABM will be a key member of the execution of various marketing activities collaborating with Shopper Marketing, Content Mgt (DDM) and Connected Commerce Teams, to achieve specific brand campaigns OTIF to meet the agreed objectives and KPIs and be the key brand custodian in these forums. Additionally, in this role, you will manage key S&OP+ inputs periodically (feeder meeting), a key step into PMR.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in understanding and assessing the market, categories, competitors and your consumer through a variety of data sources, identifying actionable insights to inform brand plans
  • Lead execution of defined marketing plans - media, innovation & NPD launches, with excellence through cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and readiness of plans, tracking of performance in market, course-correction and learnings to improve future performance.
  • Partner with SBM and shopper to develop and create communications & implementation of tactical and 360 marketing plans in line with the business objectives and strategies, maximizing the effectiveness agreed marketing budget and effectively manage any external agencies required for delivery.
  • Support the Breeder & Recommendation team for best in class events and sponsorship - being key brand custodian
  • Engage with our digital communication platforms and assist with the development of our Digital and eCommerce strategy - managing branded web platform, keeping it up to date with launches and recommended improvements.
  • In partnership with DDM and CC lead Social Media platforms and drive the ongoing development of monthly engaging content and manage CRM journey of key customers (breeders, vets, puppy/kitten owners etc)
  • Analysis of brand performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends. Leverage these insights to assist and influence brand execution and growth opportunity recommendations of NPD and Marketing Activity.
  • Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommendations for future brand activity
  • Monitor brand expenditures and manage the marketing and shopper marketing budget tracking and PO raising cost tracking and PO/Invoice processing.
