Job Description / Capsule Assistant Brand Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products to strategically optimize product life cycle, build & maintain key customer relationships. Providing support to the brand with specific focus on Strategic Marketing, activation, communications, content development, planning and executing promotional events, market information system/ Market Intelligence, and developing and managing key customer relationships with the objective of demand generation. You assist the Business Development efforts by creating engaging content and develop a pipeline for growing business. The above should be sustainable, process driven and aligned to the regional/ global strategies. At the same time, ensuring that the business has a highly differentiated image amongst leading practitioners in different segments of the category /related market. The position of Brand Activation Manager is responsible for building close working relationship across the organization including sales, marketing leadership and cross- functional teams. Defining priorities and providing direction to achieve ambition and targets become one of the key areas for you to focus on. Typical Accountabilities Develop and deliver key marketing and promotional initiatives aligned to brand & tumour strategies. Engage sales & cross-functional teams to enable best in class solution to key customer needs Manage relationship with key vendors and agencies to deliver on brand tactics. Effectively manage brand promotion budgets and PO / PR Study and interpret key market insights around customers & competitors. Champion & take initiatives to develop innovative ideas and solution inline with brand / product needs. Support key external national and regional meetings and conferences, as needed. Facilitate cross-functional team effectiveness with support departments to ensure successful delivery of strategy (including brand team meetings). Ensure regular interface with sales management team to get feed-back on execution of marketing initiatives/tools. Collaborate effectively across brand / tumour teams to share best practices and learning. Ensure compliance from all staff to guidelines, codes, policies and procedures. Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Bachelor’s Degree - Science graduate/B-Pharm 4 Years of experience Good Planning and Organizational Skills Excellent Scientific acumen Ability to develop effective internal & external partnerships Desirable Launch experience in indications / products Project management experience Prior Marketing exposure Key Relationships to reach solutions Internal (to AZ or team) Sales Management and Field Force Medical and Regulatory departments Marketing colleagues Finance Supply Chain Global/regional groups External (to AZ) Key opinion leaders, doctors, medical societies, regulatory body, healthcare associations, Pharmacists Communication agencies (market research, PR, ads and events companies, etc.) Why AstraZeneca?
