ABOUT US

We’re a small, hyper-creative brewery running an 8BBL, 2-vessel brewhouse with five fermenters and two brites. Most of our beer is brewed for our own two taprooms (Kingston and Toronto), with on-site canning and kegging. Our team is tight-knit and hands-on, and we’re looking for someone eager to grow with us and become a key part of our brewing operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Brewing experience preferred, but not required — homebrewing experience is welcome
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving heavy objects
• Willingness to learn and grow into greater responsibility
• Team-oriented, positive attitude, and a passion for craft beer

THE ROLE

The Assistant Brewer will work directly under our Brewer, supporting all aspects of production. This is a hands-on position with responsibilities ranging from assistance on brew days to cellar work to packaging. Precision and consistency are critical, but creativity and leadership potential are also valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Brewer in all aspects of wort production and brewhouse operations
• Perform cellar tasks including monitoring fermentations, dry hopping, transfers, gravity readings, and tank cleaning
• Operate packaging lines (canning, keg washing, and filling)
• Follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards for quality and consistency
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organized brewery environment
• Lift and move heavy items regularly (125 lb kegs, 55 lb grain sacks)
• Skid kegs and cans for transfer to Toronto
• Support other tasks as directed by the Brewer
