This rewarding Assistant Budget Analyst position is full time at 37.5 hours per week. Job Summary: · Will be able to follow established standard financial procedures in the following areas: o Assist Budget Analyst with preparation of annual AAA Operating Budget. o Financial management and analysis of financial data and contract compliance o Prepare and maintain budgets and projections for AAA programs o Assist with development of line item budgets and forecasting expenditures. o Monitor revenue and expenditures o Conduct fiscal monitoring of sub-contracted/recipient agencies to ensure compliance. o Review senior center program income reports o Verify bank reconciliation on all program income accounts o Prepare reports, review in-kind reports, and track and code senior donations o Review and process monthly invoices o Prepare monthly billing and monitor AR billing system o Assist with the physical inventory for the Aging Division Requirements · Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 3-5 years of experience in public or private accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 1-3 years of experience in public or private accounting preferred · Experience in budgeting and non-profit accounting is preferred · Must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Microsoft Teams · Knowledge of MIP Fund Accounting Software a plus. · Must have current Act 34 clearance issued within the past 5 years. Must meet immigration requirements.
