• You have 2+ years of relevant experience in buying, merchandising, or a comparable operational role.
• You have a strong passion for beauty, with a sharp eye for trends, customer preferences, and emerging brands.
• You’re confident in managing both operational and strategic tasks independently, while seeking guidance when needed.
• You bring strong organizational and analytical skills that enable you to support assortment building and category growth.
• You have basic negotiation skills and are eager to strengthen them by learning from senior team members.
• You can build strong relationships with brand partners and communicate Zalando’s strategy effectively.

At Zalando Beauty, we are seeking a proactive and trend led Assistant Buyer to join our dynamic Buying team. As an Assistant Buyer for Beauty, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our product selection and brand strategies. Working closely with our Buyers, you will leverage your keen eye for trends and your deep understanding of the European market to curate a strong lineup of beauty products.
As an Assistant Buyer for Beauty, you will support the Buying team on product selection and brand strategies. You will work with the Buyer and on your own accounts to negotiate the best terms for the business with suppliers. You will also ensure the ordering process is efficient and compliant with Zalando’s processes and to assist the wider buying team where necessary and working in cooperation with the planning team. You support the team with analysis and trend topics, therefore contributing to the creative and commercial strategy of the unit.
