We’re looking for an Assistant Buyer to support our GNFR (Goods Not for Resale) Procurement function at our Store Support Centre in Melton (HU14 3HJ). Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll play a key role in supporting the GNFR Procurement Manager, helping to source goods and services ethically, cost-effectively, and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and analyse usage and spend data across departments.
  • Convert raw data into clear, presentable formats.
  • Issue tenders and requests for proposals.
  • Assess commercial proposals and assist in negotiations.
  • Support vendor management and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Process requisitions and raise purchase orders.
  • Track deliveries and resolve invoice queries.
