JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Millwork Shop Drawing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the design and production processes of custom millwork projects. This position involves creating detailed shop drawings using SketchUp and Mozaik, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in SketchUp and Mozaik software is preferred
• Strong understanding of millwork and cabinetry design principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project specifications and client requirements.
• Create detailed and accurate shop drawings using SketchUp and Mozaik software.
• Assist in the preparation and revision of technical drawings and layouts that detail the specifications for building products.
• Review and analyze architectural blueprints and design sketches.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and are consistent with project specifications.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve any discrepancies between drawings and actual production needs.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
• Assist in developing and maintaining drawing templates to streamline the drafting process.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure project success.
