The 3Ts project is transforming the Royal Sussex County site delivering a state-of-the-art environment and services. The new Cardiac Diagnostics department is based in the Louisa Martindale Building at the centre of this project.
We are a very busy department providing a wide range of investigations and are looking to expand our team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard working team player to record ECGs and other basic non invasive cardiac investigations within the cardiac departments at the Royal Sussex County and Princess Royal Hospitals. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their ECG interpretation skills and expand their role within the department. There is also an opportunity to undertake further qualifications and training to enable progression to band 4 within the Cardiac Department.
You should be articulate, have good written and spoken English, have good communication skills and be able to relate to people of all ages in a confident and caring manner. No previous experience is necessary as full on site training will be given.
After initial training the post will be based at both Royal Sussex County & Princess Royal Hospitals. This post may suit a candidate looking to further their career in Cardiac Physiology.

To undertake, after appropriate training, ECG interpretation with supervision.
To support departmental administration as required, liaising with other professionals to ensure that patients receive in a timely manner cardiac physiology procedures as required.
To work to the standards set by the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (SCST) and British Cardiac Society (BCS).
