We’re looking for an early career professional as a Category Analyst or Assistant Category Manager to join our Pharmacy Category Management team on a 13 month fixed term contract as a leave replacement, with a preferred start date around mid-June.    This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Category Management, FMCG, or Channel Strategy, with hands on exposure to develop and implement pharmacy channel strategy for Blackmores and BioCeuticals with Australia’s pharmacy key accounts – Priceline, Terry White Chemmart and Independent Pharmacies.    This role reports to the Category Development Manager for Pharmacy and is based across our Surry Hills and Warriewood offices, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office and 2 days from hom)    Responsibilities include:    * Deliver accurate and timely category support to enable strategic and commercial execution.  * Partner with Category, Sales, and Marketing teams to drive alignment and clarity across initiatives.  * Analyse scan, loyalty, and market data to generate insights for category reviews and planning.  * Evaluate promotional performance (depth, frequency, ROI) and support post‑event analysis and guidelines.  * Support range, layout, and space planning through planogram development and shelf modelling.  * Assist with innovation volume forecasting and scenario modelling for new product launches.  * Maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports, and prepare presentations for internal and customer meetings.     What we offer?    * A role that is developmental for an early career to gain category management experience and channel strategy experience for an in-depth pharmacy channel.  * Great benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including access to discounted products    * Mental health support for you and your family through our Sonder assistance program           Who are you?    * Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline   * A graduate with 1 year experience or an early career professional with up to 2-3 years of category management, customer-facing or shopper marketing type roles within consumer healthcare and pharmacy sectors.   * Familiarity or knowledge in using IQVIA (or Circana) data scan will be an added advantage.   * Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and support commercial decision-making.   * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights and influence stakeholders.      Blackmores Group is a leading natural health company with proud Australian heritage, with extensive reach across Asia Pacific.  Founded by visionary naturopath Maurice Blackmore in 1932, our vision is to connect every person on earth to the healing power of nature by combining our knowledge of nature and science to deliver quality health solutions to people and their pets everywhere, every day.      Blackmores Group operates in over 12 markets, with headquarters and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Australia, and offices across South East Asia and China.      Agencies please note: this recruitment assignment is being managed directly by Blackmores Talent Acquisition team.
