Assistant Channel Manager – Solar Sales Locations: Batticaloa | Dambulla | Polonnaruwa | Anuradhapura | Jaffna | Vavuniya | Mahiyanganaya | Monaragala The Assistant Channel Manager – Solar Sales is responsible for driving sales growth within the assigned territory by developing and managing channel partners, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Hayleys Fentons’ solar solutions. The role focuses on strengthening the company’s market presence, achieving sales targets, and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, and other business partners. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage the channel partner network within the assigned territory. • Identify and generate new business opportunities for solar solutions. • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and customers. • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while driving sustainable business growth. • Conduct product presentations and provide technical support to channel partners and customers. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements. • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction. • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates. Candidate Profile: • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, channel management, or the renewable energy industry. • Experience in solar, electrical, engineering, or construction-related sales will be considered a distinct advantage. • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. • Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales. • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently. • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Possession of a valid riding or driving licence. • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
