Job Overview
We are currently seeking candidates to apply for our Prep & Cook Operative vacancy based at our Consett site (DH8 7NU).
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global food manufacturing business with great opportunities for progression and development.

This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.
Please note that the shift pattern for both roles is as follows:
Monday to Thursday 46 hours per week (12 hours per day: 6 am to 6 pm, then 6 pm to 6 am, rotating weekly between days and nights).

Key responsibilities
a) To accurately weigh raw materials required for the production of our products in line with customer requirements.
b) To ensure all recipes are followed accurately on a consistent basis.
c) To fully complete all the relevant role-specific paperwork.
d) To complete the clean down processes between change overs and to always comply with clean as you go principles.
e) To follow all food hygiene and safety instructions.
f) To immediately report any safety issues to your line manager.
g) To protect your own health & safety as well as others on site at all times.
h) To take an active role in continuously developing personal skills and knowledge through self-development activities and/or through attending Company organised training and development opportunities.
i) To ensure that the Company is professionally represented at all times, both inside and outside the business.
j) To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.
k) Ensure brand integrity is maintained at all times according to business policies and procedures.
