We play an important part in students learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle.
The Assistant Chef Manager will assist in the successful running of the unit, supporting the Chef Manager and taking responsibility in their absence. They will ensure the highest quality food preparation, maintain sanitation standards and assist in managing the kitchen staff, while also providing an excellent service to the company’s clients and customers.

As our ideal Assistant Chef Manager you will:-

• Have excellent craft skills and work to the highest standards
• Have experience of working in a commercial environment
• Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
• Be ambitious and have a track record of continually improving standards
• Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail
• Be proficient in using computers, including Word and Excel
• Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books

Experience within the education sector is desirable but not essential
