Job Description We are seeking a visionary and experienced Assistant Chief Engineering to join our dynamic team in Central Jakarta, Indonesia. In this key leadership role, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer to oversee complex engineering projects, drive innovation, and ensure operational excellence across our engineering department. Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to develop and implement strategic engineering initiatives aligned with organizational goals Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Oversee multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for complex engineering challenges Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively Ensure compliance with Indonesian engineering standards, regulations, and safety protocols Liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to drive project success Contribute to the development of engineering policies, procedures, and best practices Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the company's competitive edge Promote and implement sustainable engineering practices in line with local and global standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license Minimum 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior engineering management role Proven expertise in relevant engineering disciplines and industry-specific knowledge Strong proficiency in engineering software and tools Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor engineering teams Excellent project management skills, including budget management and risk assessment Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment In-depth knowledge of Indonesian engineering standards and regulations Experience with sustainable engineering practices and their implementation Willingness to travel as required for project oversight and stakeholder meetings
