Description We are establishing a new leadership position to strengthen Swing Bed services, nursing operations, scheduling, and on-call coverage while providing direct support to the CNO. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse leader who thrives in a dynamic rural healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Lead Swing Bed case management, including admissions, care coordination, utilization review, discharge planning, and regulatory compliance. Manage nursing schedules and share in nursing leadership on-call responsibilities. Provide general operational and leadership support to the CNO on a daily basis. Actively participate in infection prevention initiatives and organizational quality improvement efforts. Key Competencies Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in complex patient situations. Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Superior communication and interpersonal abilities. Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple priorities. Qualifications Active RN license in Texas (or eligible). Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required, master’s degree preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience; case management, Swing Bed, or leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
