Job Description Job Summary Under general direction, provides legal services on behalf of the City of San Antonio. Working conditions are primarily in an office environment. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason. Work Location 203 S St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78205 Work Hours 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday Qualifications L.L.B. or J.D. Degree from an accredited school of law. Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience as a practicing Attorney. Years of full time municipal law experience may be substituted two (2) for one (1), up to a maximum of four years credit. Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas. No substitution for education allowed. Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of applicable state laws governing city’s use of bond funds including constitutional restrictions and requirements.
