Job Description Your Role in the Story As our Assistant Cluster Chief Engineer, you’ll play a key role in bringing two distinctive LUURA hotels to life — and keeping them running at their best. You’ll support in ensuring every space, from ocean-view suites to vibrant beach clubs, operates seamlessly and meets our high standards for craftsmanship, comfort, and safety. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with a passion for innovation and hospitality — helping deliver flawless operations while shaping the atmosphere that makes LUURA unforgettable. Key Responsibilities Pre-Opening Tasks Support the Cluster Chief Engineer in developing and executing the opening plan for Paros Cliff and Paros Sand, including installation, commissioning, and system handovers. Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying construction or quality issues, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and brand expectations. Help establish preventative maintenance schedules, asset registers, and work-order systems from day one. Ensure documentation, manuals, and warranties are complete, organized, and accessible at handover. Support the commissioning and certification of life safety, HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems. Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training the engineering team for both hotels, ensuring alignment with LUURA brand standards and safety practices. Ongoing Operations Perform and supervise maintenance and repair tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction. Assist in managing engineering budgets, tracking expenditures, and preparing reports on maintenance and utilities. Ensure compliance with all safety, fire, and environmental regulations, and support regular audits and emergency drills. Coach and motivate team members, promoting a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Contribute to energy-saving and sustainability initiatives to reduce operational impact. Engage with guests when needed, demonstrating professionalism and service awareness in all interactions. Qualifications Who We’re Looking For 3–5 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer, Engineering Supervisor, or similar role, ideally in luxury hotels or openings. Strong technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience managing maintenance operations or supporting multi-property environments. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
