Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assistant Community Managers play a critical role in supporting our Community Manager within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Primarily responsible for the community’s rental collections and resident retention. Position responsibilities providing world-class customer service to our residents, supporting a dynamic property team and ensuring the financial stability of the community. The ACM will also be responsible for acting as Community Manager in their absence.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Managing rent collection, following up on delinquencies, and overseeing eviction filings and proceedings.
  • Managing the move out process for residents, including the completion of the move out inspection, determining any charges due and assisting in the resident’s final account statement preparation or resident communication.
  • Overseeing the resident renewal process including communication with residents and preparation of required notices and lease documents
  • Responsible for coordinating leasing, unit inspections, completion and processing of leasing and move in documentation and conducting tours of property as needed.
  • Maintains courteous and helpful attitude to residents, prospective residents, vendors, and employees.
  • Attends and assists with resident events as needed
    Typical Physical Demands: Regularly use hands to manipulate tools, controls, phones, and computer keyboard. Frequently stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop. Sit and stand to do clerical work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 20 lbs.
    Work is performed in an office. Employee frequently interacts directly with community management, facilities management, residents, and other staff members during the workday.
