Henssler is proud to offer a GENEROUS benefits package to all our employees: Competitive salary Paid time off (3 weeks to start) 11 Paid holidays plus 6 half days Medical insurance (100% company paid for employee coverage), plus dental and vision Paid Parental Leave 401(K) with generous company match Life insurance (company paid for employee) Short and long-term disability insurance (company-paid) Continuing education support What You’ll Do: Financial & Administrative Support Assist with rent collection and ensure timely bank deposits and Yardi entries Help manage lease files and ensure proper execution of all documents Support eviction processes and utility cut-offs when necessary Maintain accurate records and assist with weekly staff scheduling Resident Relations Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents Address resident concerns and complaints with professionalism and care Conduct property tours and highlight community features and amenities Maintenance Coordination Walk and inspect the property regularly to ensure quality standards Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely apartment turnovers Monitor service requests and follow up on completion Marketing & Leasing Stay informed about local market trends and neighborhood conditions Respond to leasing inquiries and guide prospects through the application process Review rental applications and assist with approvals or rejections Safety & Compliance Participate in property inspections and safety meetings Ensure timely reporting of workers’ compensation claims and incidents Requirements What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of onsite community management experience Reliable transportation for travel to assigned communities Working knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations Strong organizational and project management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Yardi experience is a plus Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Key Competencies: Customer Service Responds promptly, manages difficult situations with empathy, and follows through on commitments Communication Speaks and writes clearly; listens actively and seeks clarification when needed Teamwork Builds positive team spirit and supports others’ success Delegation Assigns tasks effectively and follows up on progress Interpersonal Skills Maintains confidentiality and professionalism Organizational Support Follows policies, meets deadlines, and supports company values Why Join Us? Responsibilities

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in daily operations, ensuring a welcoming and well-maintained community. Responsibilities include financial and administrative support, resident relations, maintenance coordination, and marketing and leasing activities.
