51 Main Apartments: is a “Class A” Property that is seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager.
The Assistant Community Manager - will ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and payable, as well as provide superior customer service to prospective and current residents. The Assistant Community Manager assists the Community Manager with all on-site operations and helps to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state and federal, landlord/tenant and real estate laws.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree and 3 years of similar experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Rules
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with property management software
  • Strong customer service mentality
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
  • Ability to be flexible with respect to work hours- weekend and holiday hours required

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Community Manager in managing the financial performance of the property by overseeing the rental structure and expenditures.
  • Works in collaboration with the leasing team to develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Oversee resident relations, which includes facilitating resident phone calls, requests, and concerns.
  • Assists the Community Manager with various duties including reporting, scheduling, orientation, training, maintain referral program and social activities, etc
  • Assists the Community Manager in achieving delinquency standards weekly/monthly
  • Assists the Community Manager in achieving occupancy goals and leasing expectations of the property
  • Additional duties as assigned.
