We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to establish ESH standards/ initiatives across the plant and ensure timely and effective functioning of same whilst, facilitating other social compliance related projects thereby, directing the plant towards being socially/ environmentally responsible in order to achieve its business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure all employees are educated effectively on health and safety procedures whilst create awareness of the same by conducting training programs, placing notice board posters as well as awareness banners etc. * Provide safety & environmental briefings for visitors in order to promote and support occupational Health and Safety. * Ensure an ESH framework is developed, implemented and audited in order to provide a safe working environment. * Periodical review & update of risk assessment, Environmental Aspect & Impact assessment & strengthen the control measures whilst investigate accidents/ incidents & evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions. * Effective implementation of ESH management programs to meet the set ESH objectives & target. * Ensure the general maintenance of all Health and safety equipment in the compound of the factory in order to ensure adherence to safety standards. * Function as a member of social compliance project team(s) in order to implement and sustain organization-wide projects. * Facilitate compliance of various ESH standards by coordinating with auditors and by initiating action plans in coordination with other departments and ensure the continuous maintenance of stipulated standards within the factory in order to meet organizational objectives. * Ensure the maintenance of all Social Compliance related documentation/ filing in order to facilitate the successful conduct of periodic audits with regard to social compliance. * Liaise with relevant institutes and monitor the changes/ amendments in law and educate relevant personnel/ employees on such changes in order to ensure compliance with required standards. * Implement, monitor and sustain world-class standards/ practices in industrial safety in all areas such as personal, machinery and social in coordination with relevant departments. * Engage in other relevant projects and coordinate with HR/ Plant Head/ HRM and obtain support for ESH activities, sustainability and other related projects as and when the need arises. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Degree in Engineering or other relevant qualification. * 1 to 2 years of experience in similar role. * Good communication, presentation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

The assistant will establish and maintain ESH standards and initiatives across the plant to ensure a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. They will also facilitate social compliance projects, conduct safety training, and manage documentation for periodic audits.
