A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE: * Supports oversight of construction activities by verifying work aligns with plans, specifications, and field conditions. * Provides field-level coordination between contractors and inspectors, escalating key issues to the Construction Manager as needed. * Attends on-site construction meetings as required and attends pre-construction meetings. * Conducts regular site visits to observe construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with standards. * Reviews plans, submittals, and field conditions to identify discrepancies and support constructability awareness. * Assists in QA/QC efforts by identifying potential deficiencies or non-conforming work and reporting findings. * Supports documentation and administrative processes (RFIs, reports, pay application inputs, and project records). * Helps to coordinate contractors, utilities, and site activities to maintain workflow and minimize disruptions. * Demonstrates adaptability and responsiveness in the field, supporting the Construction Manager in resolving day-to-day project challenges. REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * 12+ years of experience * Ability to effectively multitask across multiple projects and internal/external contacts. * Attention to detail. * Problem solving and decision making. * Time management. * Strong communication skills * Ability to build strong relationships LEVEL UP WITH LJA At LJA, we’re 100% employee-owned.
